We are excited to announce the launch of a new addition to the NHSN Newsletters for Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC): NHSN ASC Spotlight. Curated specifically for the ASC community, this quarterly newsletter will provide valuable insights, updates, and resources tailored to your needs. Each edition will include a featured article related to Outpatient Procedure Component (OPC) and Healthcare Personnel Safety Component (HPS). This inaugural edition covers OPC protocol updates, NHSN user enrollment guidance, insights into data reported to OPC, and HPS vaccination data reporting updates. While the first edition is extensive, future issues of the newsletter will be more streamlined.
